Blackburn will be looking to move in to the playoff places when the host a struggling Leeds side at Ewood Park on Saturday afternoon.
Rovers are currently on an unbeaten run that stretches seven games since the last lost to Rotherham at the end of September and sit just one place and two points behind Watford in the last playoff place.
Gary Bowyer’s squad will go in to the game full of confidence and expecting to pick up all three points against Leeds who have found it difficult to pick up points of late.
They did win their last game against bottom placed Blackpool and picked up a point from Charlton before that but the game against the Addicks was the last in and eight game streak without a win.
The Elland Road club occupy 15th place in the Championship but are just four points above the relegation zone and unless the can start to build on their last two results and put a sequence of good performances together they could find themselves in a relegation scrap.
In terms of team news, Blackburn look likely to be without Jason Lowe, Tommy Spurr and Josh King. Leeds on-loan midfielder Zan Benedicic will be out until and a decision will need to be made on Rudy Austin after he returns from a hectic international schedule. However Giuseppe Bellusci, Tomasso Bianchi and Billy Sharp should all return.
Looking at recent results this game should only really have one result. Leeds have picked up results in their last two games but they have also only won once away all season and Blackburn should be too good for them.
