On Thursday night Steve Evans will take charge of his first game at Elland Road, as Leeds United take on Blackburn Rovers in the Sky Bet Championship.

Leeds are yet to win at home so far this season, drawing 2 and losing 3, whilst Blackburn are still searching for their first away victory of the season.

Steve Evans will be eager to pick up his first win since taking over, in his opening two games; he has over seen two draws, at Fulham and Bolton.

He will want to get three points on board as soon as possible, to avoid any pressure from owner Massimo Cellino who is now on his 6th new manager in only seven months.

There is also pressure on Blackburn manager Gary Bowyer; his side are one spot below Leeds in 18th, only two points off the drop zone, and come into the match off the back of a derby defeat against Burnley.

In 13 games this season, Leeds have only managed 12 goals, with Wood and Antenucci scoring 9 of them between the two strikers. So Evans, will be heavily relying on them for the goals. Bianchi, Sloth and Doukara all returned for Leeds u21 side this week and could feature on Thursday evening.  Blackburn have the prolific Jordan Rhodes, who is always a danger, and have no new injury concerns ahead of the match.

It should be a close game, both teams will be keen to pick up 3 points, both will be desperate not to lose as well. Leeds have poor home form, but Blackburn have only picked up 3 points on the road, although two impressive draws came at Hull City and QPR.

Probable LEEDS UNITED – Silvestri, Byram, Bamba, Cooper, Berardi, Dallas, Mowatt, Adeyemi, Cook, Antenucci, Wood.

Probable BLACKBURN ROVERS – Steele, Marshall, Duffy, Hanley, Olsson, Taylor, Evans, Akpan, Conway, Delfouneso, Rhodes.
