Leeds and Wigan face off on Boxing Day in a lower-end of the table clash with Leeds sitting 18th and Wigan struggling in 23rd position. The Latics have lost their last 4 games in a row and after Leeds got a good point away to Nottingham Forest, Malky Mackay’s team might be struggling to get anything from this game.

Since the Scot took over the manager’s role at Wigan he has only gained 1 point from 5 games and the fans and will be hoping that he can turn things around at Elland Road. Leeds home form has not been brilliant but it has been considerably better than their performances away. Therefore Neil Redfearn will see this game as a good opportunity for his side to set themselves further apart from the relegation zone.

Leeds are expecting to welcome back Rudy Austin and Giussepe Bellusci but they have no fresh injury concerns.

Wigan will be missing Maynor Figueroa who has been recalled by Hull. As well as this they will be without Leon Barnett who suffered a hamstring injury in the Latics 2-1 home loss to Rotheram.

Silvestri, Byram, Bellusci, Cooper, Warnock, Tonge, Bianchi, Mowatt, Cook, Antenucci, Sharp.
