The only FA Cup 5th Round match that won’t feature at least one Premier League side takes place tomorrow at 3pm, with an all-Championship tie between promotion hopefuls Derby and midtable Reading.

Derby’s top goalscorer Chris Martin misses out through injury, but midfielder George Thorne could return to action after nearly a year out of the first team reckoning.

New signing Yakubu could feature for the Royals if deemed fit enough after breaking his nose against Leeds, and Danny Guthrie has overcome a groin problem ahead of the clash.

The Rams have been in top form, winning six and drawing one of their last eight league games, while Reading come in to it following an inconsistent run. As with any cup game, however, it is difficult to call due to the nature of the competition. Derby may have their eyes on the Championship prize, while Reading could be preoccupied with a potential relegation scrap. On the other hand both clubs could see the FA Cup as a great distraction, especially with the lack of top teams remaining at this stage.

Prediction: Derby to continue their momentum, with Bent an able deputy for the missing Martin. 1-0.
