Sack Keys.
Sack Keys #2
[...] If you missed it earlier, you simply HAVE to listen to this interview with Richard Keys as he climbs in to the hole he made for himself and simply starts digging. [...]
Sack Keys #3 listen to him grovel; a change in attitude for him isn’t it?
this is hilarious. keys just can’t stop
Sack Keys 3
I’m surprised he doesn’t bemoan having to sit down on schedule every night, what with the sun shining out his arse and all.
This has got out of hand. It’s between Keys, Gray and Massey and if she has taken it with a pinch of salt as Keys insisted she has, then why is it still a talking point? Move on!
Disagree with the assertion that he ‘dug himself a deeper hole’ hugely. He’s been made to look like the silly bugger he was and spent nearly an hour grovelling on national radio. Punishment served, lesson learnt get over it.
Oh Keys, you should have stayed at Good morning TV! He really needed to pay some agent to release a statement….this is hilarious. I wonder what kind of shovel he’s using? Perhaps a JCB?
Keys should be SACKED. He IS arrogant and aloof and believes himself to be ‘special’. His grovelling and feeble attempt at trying to save his job and career is the ONLY reason he has done this. He has PAST behaviour and his LIES about himself do not take into consideration his past misdemeanours. Take his creepy behaviour with Ulrika on daytime TV. There are other instances of his blatant sexism too. Keys will be brought to book – he can creep as much as as he wants.
Bring back Gray and Keys
He will resign next Tuesday …it will take that long to get him out of the hole he just dug himself into
David T – dry your eyes pal. Bit over the top
Perhaps, while he is in apology mode, Keys could apologise to Rafa Benitez. He has consistently(and smugly and snidely)undermined that gentleman and his legacy at Liverpool Football Club. The way he has fawned over others – Rafa’s replacement Roy Hodgson for example – is in sharp contrast to his spiteful sniping, over a long period, of someone who Keys seemingly viewed as an easy target.
Incidentally, this interview and its grovelling tone is laughable and transparent, “leave Sian alone” indeed. Who does he think he’s kidding?
Should never have given women the vote.
But did you smash it though? Of course you did you’d be hanging out the back of it if you were near it
[...] Thank god Richard Keys’ talkSPORT interview is over. It has to rank as the most excruciating, humiliating and insincere mea culpa since, well, [...]

Bring back Andy Gray for the good of football broadcasting. Personally I’d like to see Keys back too but whatever.
was nothing more than lad banter, if you put a microphone in every dressing room in the country there wouldn’t be any football matches left for sian to be involved with, as all the players would be down the job centre with keys and gray
Keys is a talentless little boy; a sycophantic man desperate to be accepted into the alpha male ranks of the football world.
His sexist, utterly reprehensible comments have no business in a place of work.
Would you smash, it?
What a cunt.
I agree with people saying that people everywhere would be sacked for their “sexist” comments, that often aren’t made in a harsh way — but the tone of Keys and Gray wasn’t very jokey, it was serious, and I must say that making those comments *in front of cameras and near microphones* does prove these guys had become above their own station … the Sky!
Whether there is sexist talk in changing rooms round the country is not the point here. Professional footballers are paid to play football, coach etc. Gray and Keys job was to be the public’s guide to the football game and give an insight into the technicalities that football supporters need to know to fully appreciate the game or might just be interested in. That they held such out of date opinions, and thought it funny to express them, puts their judgement in question. We don’t need commentaries that are irrelevant and out of date. Plus who needs employees that can end up putting their employer in court facing a discrimination case. It must have been hell working in their studio from the sound of it.
Keys is enormously proud of what he did. But what did he do? He talks about football! Big deal.
Keys says there are two sides of the situation. What is the either side?
Keys says with success comes envy. Who on earth envies Keys!!
Keys says that the clips are selective. Obviously, no-one is interested in the boring rubbish, only the sexist inappropriate remarks.
Keys says there is no difference between the illegal phone-tapping and recording and broadcasting his remarks. What planet is Keys on? Does Keys understand anything?
Keys is a bloody twat end of story
Marianne Stewart – aren’t you contradicting yourself? Don’t get me wrong, in no way do I wish to stand up for either of them or condone their behaviour, but you say they are paid to be the public’s guide to football and to provide insight to football supporters in terms of technicalities etc, yet they weren’t on camera or doing their job at the time in question. Like I’ll Have Two Sugars Love said above, if you put a microphone in changing rooms up and down the country, there would be very few footballers around to play the game. They should’ve perhaps exercised a little more caution when it came to ‘havin a bit of banter’, or at the very least chosen to participate with others who appreciate such humour, but this is definitely a case of scapegoat-ism(?). I’ve gotta say though, I certainly won’t be missing Gray’s ‘analysis’.
[...] telling. Never was this plainer than yesterday, when Keys went on Talksport and proceeded to commit career suicide with the worst of attempted apologies. That Sky deemed it unnecessary to aid their presenter with prepared material was akin to giving [...]
this is sad and pathetic.
A. Gray says:

Should never have given women the vote.
Sorry to burst your bubble, man, but you didn’t ‘give’ that right to women. We TOOK it!
Here is my take on the situation…. andy gray and keys have been at sky since the dawn of time. We are aware that they were both on a hefty wage packet and with neither of them getting any younger they aren’t quite fitting in with the modern day Sky TV image. However there would be outroar were Sky just to come out and replace two of the corner stones of the modern football broadcasting game, so they have jumped on this situation (hence keys’ apology not being allowed to go public) and let the public massacre the pair of them so they have no choice but to remove Gray with the knowledge that Keys would soon follow.
The real winner out of all this is Rupert Murdoch who will be rubbing his hands with all this extra publicity and the prospect of a new broadcasting team consisting of Jamie “sicknote” Redknapp and somebody else who will be a lot easier on the eye than the previous two occupants of the studio chairs
What a load of twaddle. If SKY had wanted new faces on their programme they could have done it better. This is a ‘stitch-up’. No MEN ever believe that a woman can know the ‘Off-Side’ rule, it is a standing joke and the comments were made ‘Off-Air’ as part of their warm up banter. Karen Brady – sexism!! Am I mistaken in thinking that she has made a lot of money out of ‘women’. I would never have apologised, I would have said and stuck to the fact that it was BANTER and nothing more. If Joe Public cannot handle that then, it is time for them to move on, not the presenters. I’d ‘smash-it’ to Jamie Rednapp’s ex and his present and I’m sure he’d be glad to hear it and know it. That’s why they choose these sex symbols to start with. I cannot understand how you Brits have allowed your country to become so PC. Glad I left the damned place. Keys did NOT dig any hole, the directors at SKY did that and buried him and, in my humble opinion, unfairly. Just record any of your own ‘off-air’ conversations about your employers, your government, your wife and just listen as to how you incriminate yourselves.
